while in the area I thought I would check out an authentic Mexican cuisine restaurant in beards-town's Mexican section. I love steak feitas at el rancherito, at las aquave's, the alamo, xicimecho etc esp the meat sauces. I felt robbed at Fiesta Grande. The steak strips were tough and tasteless. The green peppers undercooked and the meat and sauce had absolutely no seasonings or flavor. I left most of the dinner on the plate. $32 plus tip.Never again. If it was flank steak it must have been one tough old steer. Mexican cook? I doubt it.
More likely some teenager with absolutely no knowledge of any type of cooking, much less, Mexican. A joke. If Fiesta Grande is your only choice....better to stay at home
