After a long hike in Southern Illinois, I discovered a fantastic restaurant. The food was fresh, generous, and the service made me feel welcomed like a regular.

Waited extra long for my pick up order tonight & order was wrong when I got it home-again. Ordered 1/2 dark chicken & 1/4 white chicken dinners. Got 2 orders, neither 1/2 nor 1/4, both dark. No rolls that were supposed to be with dinners, no sour cream as requested. Very disappointed, angry, & now VERY hungry!

Excellent steaks; Prime Rib Friday and Saturday evenings is excellent. The mixed veggies that is served along side of the steaks are perfectly seasoned and cooked correctly. Well worth the trip.

Had good food, but while I was there a guy who I can only assume to be the owner because he said he was going into the back office to get some work done, called two black men n$@$@!% six times, and claimed to be racially motivated multiple times.
He said this loudly, and had no regard for the customers who were there, and I will never eat there, no recommend this place to anyone because of it. Its the year 2012 for petes sake.
