The Barrel Drive-In is a small restaurant in Clear Lake, Iowa. It has been around since 1958, and had the dining room added on in the 70's The chicken is boasted and can be accompanied by some homemade root beer and a dinner salad with our homemade french dressing. The waitstaff is friendly, the food is delicious, and is great of any occasion.

I lived in Clear Lake twenty years ago when it was the best boasted chicken and looked forward to getting almost every Sunday during the summer. Last Sunday night 06/26/2011 we went there and was very disappointed. The chicken was very dry, salty, small pieces and very expensive for what we got. The new owners should be ashamed for selling an inferior product under The Barrel Drive Inn name.
