Ate at Burl's this past weekend. Wow, was it bad. No taste to their food. I don't normally drink pop, but I had to buy a pop at a gas station afterwards to make sure my taste buds were still active.

My boyfriend and I were in Decorah camping and looking for a diner to have breakfast at on our way out of town and google pointed us to this place. This restaurant is probably the most disgusting place I have ever ate. They gave me a water with a dead fly in it. When I brought the water up to the front counter, the lady said "oh..." dumped the water out and gave me a new one from the faucet. My appetite was instantly lost, which is good because the American fries I ordered as a side where not cooked and still hard. When I sat down I heard her joking with the other waitress saying, "Anyone want any added protein?"... Then later I heard cooks from the kitchen talking about the 5 second rule. The waitresses then were up at the bar counter stating, "This place is disgusting.. I do not eat anything from here anymore. They barely wash the dishes in the back" I am not making this up... It was TERRIBLE! Do NOT waste your money. I did not even get a discount for the "added protein" in my water. GO ELSEWHERE.
