My step son and his wife turned us on to this place. All 4 of us have been crazy about it ever since and so have everyone we've ever taken there or referred there. Service and staff are excellent. We get treated like family. Food is AWESOME!! Portions are large, everything is fresh and perfectly prepared. Best Sushi I've eaten anywhere in Jax and I eat a lot of Sushi! And their delivery is wonderful...prompt, hot is hot, cold is cold, drivers are polite and professional.

The reasons for the perfect score is because I have always received great service, food, value, and the atmosphere is very relaxed and pleasant. I have been during rush hour and I have yet had a negative service. Their food is awesome and the portions and quality of the food is amazing. I love eating their with friends, family or alone. I like knowing that my Hibachi chicken is going to be all white meat and not a mixture of dark meet. Like I said the quality is great and the staff is very friendly.

I too rec'vd bad service while visiting this restaurant..I called in an order & was told it would be ready in 30mins. I get to the restuarant & had to wait another 40mins before my order was ready. The owner was RUDE & didn't try to apologize but stated they were busy during lunch..If you are looking for a 1hr-10 min long await lunch after a call-in order, then I would recommend this place...

I have never written a review on the net before but I couldn't help but to write this one.

Food is decent but service is TERRIBLE!

I ordered one roll and the person I was eating with ordered Hibatchi Chicken. Not only did her Hibatchi Chicken arrive before my sushi, but after an hour, my roll still wasn't there and she had finished her food. I watched as people came in the resturant after me and exited before me, all receiving their sushi. When I inquired as to why my order was taking so long, I was told by a very rude waiter that the restuarant was busy and that I needed to be patient, that it would be out soon. I watched 3 rolls go out (same that I ordered) to other customers. When I finally told them that we had to go and just cancel it, they proceeded to tell me that it was almost ready and that I had to take it to go!! I didn't get the roll until 10 minutes after it was "almost ready"! THEN they charged me for it!!

In addition, while I was there one couple walked out and yelled to the cashier that they had been waiting for their check for 30 minutes after asking repeatedly and that they had left their cash on the table. I watched the same RUDE waiter try to convince another customer to just eat a roll even though it was not what she had ordered.

I will NEVER go back to this place again. I understand that restaurants get busy and that sometimes mistakes happen, but at LEAST apologize! Do something to make it right! Please, take my advice and STAY AWAY from this place!!!
