I use to work at Sushi Wok. I love their food and Susie is very nice. But like other employees that had worked there prior to myself, we were cheated out of money and they didn't want to put you on W-2. Their excuses would be 'not working hard enough' or 'business is slow'. True, their location does hinder their business and it's usually quiet, but not working hard enough?! I spent months working there open - close (10am - 10pm). That's very insulting. And guess how much I got payed in the end.. About $500 dollars + food that was supposed to be free of charge. They said they would pay me but they never did. Did I mention unsanitary? The baby dropped a wonton wrap on the floor and Susie picked it back up and used it! By now, someone must've eaten that crab rangoon. That's disgusting.
