During a road trip to visit Laura Ingalls Wilder's home, my friend Tony and I made a pit stop at Penny's Diner in Wellington, Kansas for lunch. I ordered a Regular Cheeseburger with fries, while Tony went for the Chili Cheeseburger with Fries - his choice was definitely unique! The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the food was delicious, especially the pancakes. If you're in the area, this diner is definitely worth a visit for a cozy meal reminiscent of home.
