Spent many nights during my time at KU in the 80s catching bands that you couldn't see anywhere else nearby, and the vibe was always electric with great music and friendly staff. Whether it's an all-ages show or just hanging out watching a Jayhawks game, the atmosphere feels laid-back and genuine, with a cool mix of local regulars and strong drinks. It's a spot full of character where new music thrives, and every visit reminds me why it's such a staple in Lawrence's scene.
