GROUPON USERS BEWARE! We received our bill, presented groupon before paying and they added an additional $12.00 and change on top of the difference we already owed. They added an 18% tip from the combined total of the bill AND TAXES, for two people! Watch your receipt and I suggest you use cash (read other reviews about extra charges on CC), thankfully we did. Better yet, avoid this place, there are better teppanyaki/steak houses that offer a more welcoming atmosphere and better quality food.
About the food. It was mediocre, the sushi was supermarket grade (might as well go to Hen House and buy it there) and definitely not worth the price. The pieces were small and almost room temperature (thankfully I did not get sick).
The service. Very slow and inattentive with the lack of other customer service skills. Definitely not worth the 18% tip they wanted, let alone the standard 15%.
The lady who runs the register will try to bully and confuse you about the 18% tip. There is no statement on the printout and their menu states 18% tip will be added for parties of 7 or more. She will circle a statement on the groupon which in reality says nothing about tip; read your groupon.
