By my estimate I've eaten 30 The Works omelettes last year and 7 this year. I want to order something else but I always go back to The Works because it's that good. Colby was our server and was terrific. She gives the same great customer service as does Peyton, Tiffany, Jenna, the the others I've forgotten their names. Never had a bad server at First Watch. Maybe I'll try a huge pancake next Sunday or a skillet breakfast? Nah, I'm ordering The Works.

First time ever eating here and it will be our last! The food was wonderful! The way our family was treated on Father’s Day 6-20-21 was one for the books!!
We put our name on the list for 10:40am. Now yes it busy we realize there is going to be a wait that is fine. We asked if they were going to open up the outside, and if so we would sit outside. We watched them clean up the tables outside abs set them up. Then they call us out. First off it’s 11:20am So we asked if they could put the umbrellas up? We have little ones and one with a skin condition. They tell there broken. So we told them oh that’s not going to work, then we didn’t realize that. Then we decided if we could put the tables closer to building in the shade we could make it work. The hosted literary walked off. Some other people came out to move the tables. One right of the bat acts so upset with us. We literally told them we could move the table no big deal. She yells at us to move so she could set up the tables! We though ok their busy and we are asking them to move tables. Let it go. We sit, before we are settled she ask who all would like coffee? She brings it out and water. Not enough to go around. no menu’s or silverware. I was moving stuff back to the center of the table and I ran my hand in bird poop. 😩 no big deal things happen ( I mean we are outside) I went in to wash my hand ask where the rest room was cause it’s in a corner I could see it. and ask for a rag to wash table and let them know why. Our waitress cops and attitude points to the bathroom then rolls her eyes at me. Wish that was the end it’s not.
We sit and wait about 20 minutes our waitress never comes back out to get drink orders, menus, or silverware. So when another waitress was heading back in I asked if she could have our waitress come out and get our drink order when she has a minute. She comes out and asks if we are ready to order. We said well we don’t have menus and we need drinks and silverware. She rolls her eyes and tells us she is busy! She has other customers!! So at this point we say we are done just get us the bill for the coffe and we will leave. She stands there arguing with us about how busy she is and that she doesn’t have time for us. We finally ask to see a manager. She still arguing. We haven’t had time to look at the menu because she had just brought it to us. And she is wanting us to order. Finally a manager comes out and apologized to us asked us to please let him make it right. He has noticed she was having an attitude. We decided to stay he had a different waitress for us. That was very friendly. The other waitress helped bring our food and was making rude looks at us throughout our meal. You could tell they were talking about us by the way everyone was looking at us. It was very uncomfortable! Then as we went to pay she makes a point to wake to the register and stand while each one of us paid! It was the worst experience I have ever had. Manager was wonderful, the food was wonderful, the other waitress was wonderful. But it puts a bad tast in your mouth to have to try and eat through this. Not only that nothing was offered to make up for the way we were treated!! Horrible experience!! We didn’t leave untill 1:30pm and were seated by 11:20!
