I had a wonderful experience at the bar and grill, enjoying delicious food and a fun atmosphere. The service was friendly and the prices were reasonable, making it a great spot to visit again soon.

Good candidate for "Bar Rescue."
Have been there twice before receiving good service, and above average food, for bar food. Went to watch the Royals game Oct 14 and have some dinner. First thing we noticed was the lack of waitstaff. The woman waitress that was working was clearly overwhelmed by not having any other help (yes, a full house and one waitress). She remained calm and courteous. We ordered our dinner about 7:15. By about 7:50 she told us it should be coming right up...by 8:15 she tells us they are remaking it. We tell her its too late, and to box it up...by 8:30 (and still no food) the customers behind us who had been there only for about 30 minutes get their food! Really, you got to be kidding me! By now we are furious. I confront the owner and inform him of the situation. All we received was a line of excuses. He was bull-headed enough to not even comp the meal. The worst service we have received in 11 years from anywhere we have ever been (including all of our travels). This old man needs to learn a few things about customer service, proper management, how to keep customers coming back, and the power of social media. Oh, and by the way, the one mixed drink I did receive was watered down because it sat on the bar too long before it was served. Sorry Double Nickel, there's plenty of other places that will earn our business...
