Crossing the river by ferry set the tone for an unforgettable culinary adventure at this cozy riverside tavern, where each dish-from perfectly cooked steaks to a richly flavored chicken parm-was served with attentive, warm hospitality. The menu, though concise, showcased well-executed flavors, highlighted by generous cocktails and standout appetizers like the spinach and artichoke dip and a decadent charcuterie board, while the rustic ambiance and live theatrical tunes elevated the entire experience. Though a few tweaks like additional side dishes and dessert options could enhance future visits, the combination of excellent food, genuine service, and breathtaking river views ensures I'll be returning soon.

We found this charming restaurant while exploring Augusta, Kentucky, and it was such a great experience. The ambiance was cozy, and the service was on point, making us feel right at home. The food was delicious, especially the filet and the honey pie, which we couldn't resist taking home even after a full meal.

Great food!

The food is prepared with a genuine love for food and people. The home made cracked wheat bread is absolutely delicious for any bread lover. The prime rib is the best I have ever had. Slow roasted and tended by a great man. If you are lucky you will be there on a night that he sings. A very unique restaurant/bar with an all to often forgotten taste of history. Ask to set on the upstairs balcony for a very romantic evening dining by the river side.
