I ordered what I thought was a bisque and cheesy bread for pickup, but the bisque turned out to be a 10" Corn N Crab Bisque Pizza that I couldn't finish because it was really off-putting, and the cheesy bread was way too thin for my taste. On the other hand, my boyfriend's pizza was tasty but a bit light on sauce, and while the staff was friendly and the pizzas generally good, I did notice some cleanliness issues around the ordering area and was concerned about how the sauces were stored.

I ordered pickup on a Saturday night and my boyfriend picked it up for us. I thought I was getting Bisque and Cheesy Bread, but ended up with a 10" Corn N Crab Bisque Pizza instead, which was the grossest pizza I've ever tasted. The Cheesy Bread was disappointingly thin, unlike any I've had before. Despite the mishap, my boyfriend's pizza was delicious, just a bit light on sauce. The restaurant was empty when we arrived on a Holiday Monday morning, but the person assisting us was courteous and professional. The pizzas we ordered were cooked perfectly, and the cauliflower crust was crispy and tasty. However, the cleanliness of the order area left something to be desired, with dirty tables and chairs, and an unclean handwashing area with hard water stains and soap scum. The sauces were left unrefrigerated by the order area, which was a concern, but the toppings seemed well-handled and the pizzas were made with gloves. The finishers looked a bit unkempt, but the food itself was tasty and satisfying. The Classic Cajun pizza with a traditional crust was meaty and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice in the sauce. The only improvement I would suggest is using canned or bottled drinks for delivery to avoid watered-down fountain drinks. The 10" pizza had 6 slices and was both delicious and visually appealing. The only issue was that special instructions for dressings and certain items on the salad were ignored. Overall, the food was tasty and I would order from them again. The employees were helpful and polite, making the experience enjoyable. The ability to customize your own pizza is a great feature, and the margarita pizza with minced garlic, pepperoni, and pesto drizzle was perfection. Additionally, the restaurant's support for local schools is commendable and adds to the positive experience. I will definitely be returning to Pizza Artista for more delicious food and great service.
