Wow, the worst dining experience I've had in my 47 years and by far the worst Mexican food. It was a bad sign that we were the only customers for the first 5 minutes before 2 other guys came in. The first issue was they had no tea but drinking water isn't a big deal. The staff however was simply confused. We placed our drink order then was approached by someone else to take our drink order and the same held true when ordering. Ordering...where do I even begin. The waiter just didn't seem to comprehend what we were saying. I ordered the Burrito California that came with peppers, onions, chicken, rice and a red sauce while my girlfriend ordered a Jumbo Burrito with the cheese sauce on it. In the meantime I got some guacamole for the chips. This was by far the most bland guacamole I have ever had. Kroger sells better guac and that is sad. Getting the order took a while. During this time there was a young child, around 3 or 4, playing and screaming back in the kitchen. The 2 gentleman near us were laughing about how dead the place was and how confused the waiter seemed. Finally we get our food or what was supposed to be our food. What we received was something totally different and can only be described as sub par at best. My Burrito California was not a burrito. There was not tortilla wrap anywhere. It was chicken with a side of rice, beans, and broccoli, cauliflower, and squash. My girlfriend received her Jumbo Burrito with red sauce instead of the cheese we were paying a dollar extra for. The Jumbo Burrito also did not live up to his name seeing was rather small in size. So I informed the waiter of the error. He immediately takes both plates back, while looking confused, and returns about a minute later. He gives my girlfriend the exact same plate as before with no changes. There was absolutely no attempt to fix her order. Then he gives me mine and this is where it really gets stupid. All they did was take the contents of the first plate, dump it onto a soft tortilla shell (without even heating it), dumped a crap ton of refried beans on it along with a hefty topping of cheese. He proceeds to pat me on the back, smile, say "good" and then walk away. There were no onions, peppers or Burrito California as it literally was the contents of the first plate. When tasted it I quickly realized that their claim of authentic Mexican food was false. Sadly, I have had more authentic food at Taco Bell. They would do nothing to correct the error and even argued with me that it was correct. I even pointed out on the menu what it was supposed to me. They gave me no reply and just walked off. In the end they took $1.00 off the bill, smile like a fool, and patted me on the back again like they were doing me some huge favor. Seriously!? This place is a joke that needs to be shutdown. If I could give it zero stars I would. Stay far, far away. In fact, just go to Krogers and buy a bag of frozen burritos as they will taste better than the food at this place.
