So, get this - there's this place called La Perla Tapatia, but it's disguised as Kim's Deli or Panchito Market. And guess what? The sign outside screams "Tortas Ahogadas" - that's what lured me in. Inside, you'll find a mix of a tiny market and a full-on Mexican eatery with a cool mural on the wall. Now, onto the food - the Tortas Ahogadas are a game-changer with carnitas, beans, and pickled onions soaked in sauce. But steer clear of the chicken burrito, it was a letdown. They have a bunch of other intriguing options on the menu, so I'm definitely making a return trip - just not for the chicken. And hey, don't say I didn't warn you about the spicy hot sauce - it's no joke!
