Jackson’s Village Bistro is located in the heart of Hermosa Beach and is run by husband-and-wife team, Scott and Sharon Cooper. The restaurant is warm and comfortably decorated and features a divers menu of homey dishes and sophisticated eclectic cuisine. The menu is intelligent, sometimes disarmingly simple with great fresh ingredients, and at other times quite elaborate. Jackson's easily becomes a favorite destination that will leave you craving to return soon. | Dinner at 5:30pm, 7 nights

Jackson's is absolutely one of the best dining experiences for the food and service that you will experience. The heated patio is very romantic. The owner/chef makes it a point to always chat with customers. Our hint is to get the special goat cheese salad and the filet mignon risotto (w/truffle oil)!

I found the service and food both below average. While the girls were nice, they lacked sophistication. I was there on a relatively slow weeknight, yet 4 out of the 6 entrees came out 10 minutes early.
The waitress actually said that the chef wanted us to go ahead and start, so our food didn't get cold. In my many years experience eating and working in this industry, at these prices, all the food should come out simultaneously.
Half of our party was practically finished eating before the other half was served.
The food was okay. But just okay. With so many other great restaurants in the area, I'd definately skip this one next time.
