07/04/2006 - 5 star rating!
Location, location, location! if this place were Beverly Hills it would be packed. This is an elegant dining experience. I'm sorry to see the great restaurants on Sunset Blvd. are gone: The Dome, Joss etc. It seems like if Paris Hilton isn't a regular and the noise level isn't beyond scream level the place is not on the "in" list. To me Norman's may be the most elegant restaurant we have in LA. The food also deserves as many stars as we can give it. Do not miss this because of the Sunset traffic. The traffic is usually much later than the 7 to 10 dinner hour.
07/03/2006 - L.A. we need to get behind the restaurant.
A friend and I had dinner and we both thought it was one of the best meals we have ever had. We both had eaten at Norman's in Coral Gables Florida and remembered it as being exceptional. And now the one on Sunset is closer and less expensive if you consider the air fare. The place is on the high side but you can see the money put into the place. Our service was first class, and the whole staff was very friendly and helpfull. I was a bit dissapointed that there were not a lot of customers. I hope people will treat themselves to a real gourmet adventure.
