I was craving some menudo, so I decided to grab some from this Mexican spot nearby. The menudo I got was so flavorful, with a rich broth and plenty of tripe and hominy. They even included all the fixings like chili/oregano mix, tortillas, and lemon with cilantro and onion. Definitely a place I'd want to try more dishes from in the future!

I went to Sofias around 5:00pm and to my surprise there were no people. I ordered a burrito de asada(beef) with little beans, no rice, with cheese and I asked if they had pico de gallo? The pretty woman said " No, but we can add onion, cilantro and tomatoe." I got it to go. That burrito was the best burrito I've had in the city of Pasadena! I called to tell them at the restaurant so and found out that the pretty woman who took my order was Sofia!! I believe in giving praise when it's due and that burrito and the friendliness from Sofia deserves praise! I will be back!!
