01/02/2025 - Jay M.
One of the few remaining Japanese-owned businesses in the Crenshaw neighborhood is Kinokuni, which offers fresh and local treats. While I do enjoy Mikawaya, my heart belongs to Kinokuni, especially since the closure of Graces next door. It's a shame to see the changing landscape, and I find solace in the familiar taste of their mochi, which brings back cherished memories. Kinokuni has stood the test of time, offering firm and flavorful mochi that never disappoints, with new varieties to keep things exciting.
