There's a charming corner bakery near my workplace that offers a variety of affordable options, including a delicious bean, cheese, and egg torta along with spicy plantains for just $8.50. The selection includes Salvadoran tamales and various baked goods, with the warm bolillos being particularly noteworthy at four for $1. The owner, Liset, adds a personal touch to the experience, and the quality of the bread and pastries keeps me coming back for more.
