Very good place to eat and the food is delicious. They give you plenty of food and the prices are very reasonable. We eat here very often and enjoy the atmosphere as well as the friendly staff.

I recently went to the Katfish Kitchen for the first time. It's small and dirty. The wait staff is horrible. The place only has about 15 tables but it took over half an hour just to place our drink orders and another 20 minutes to get them. We are talking glasses of tea or water and cans of coke. The waitress seemed like it was a bother for her to take our orders. We finally got our food after about an hour and a half. It was cold and way too salty. My wife got the catfish/shrimp platter. The fish was OK, but the shrimp were tough and chewy. We tried to get drink refills, but again the waitress acted like it was too much trouble. After asking 3 times, she reluctantly took our refill orders. There are no free refills here. We were charged for everything and then some. We had charges on our bill that I have no idea what they were for. Our food and drinks should have come to about $25, but our bill was for $40, plus they wanted a tip. Take my advice and stay away from this place. I almost could overlook the food, if the waitstaff was at least friendly, but these people were horrible.
