Oh, my gosh! The food is so wonderful.

Blue Plate is one of my favorite places to eat -- as it is for a large number of people on the Near East Side. Located across from the Barrymore Theatre, this restaurant serves traditional fare, but with an imaginative twist that thrills the taste buds. I've never tasted anything here that I didn't love. But always remember to save room for desert, for as good as the regular menu, Blue Plate's desert selection is even better.
