Visited The Diner after a New Year's Day hike up Pack Monadnock and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The diner's classic charm and friendly staff made it a great stop for a delicious meal.

We have watched the service, cleanliness and freshness of the food decline steadily over the past 6 yrs of coming to the diner as Peterborough Residents.
The restaurant is dirty & by summers end full of flys spiders.. today we tried it again for breakfast.
After having a spider on the table I had to clean off , then a fly & then fruit flys all Prior to receiving breakfast. The breakfast was cold, bacon hard like worn out leather it was gross and disgusting. As well the same servers continue to chuckle laugh at customers. The Owner used to come regularly it seems he should do a quality review. If the health department came today they would be seriously in trouble with the lack of infection control measures.
In covid no waitress should be coughing while carrying/serving trays.
