First off let me apologize for the bad experience you had while at the Log Cabin.. I am the head chef there and have been there for over 7yrs. Its never good to hear anything bad about the establishment you represent. Though I must say a couple things on our behalf. Again we apologize for the ill informed waitress that served you. We have hired some new members here and it's safe to say one of them waited on your group and yes this is not a justifiable reason for their ineptitude and this pronominal has been strongly addressed. The beef stroganoff is just that not beef and noodles please know what's your insulting before you insult it and as it is I who do the menu the price has not changed in the 3yrs since I put it on the menu here.. to address the chicken wings, our price for chicken wings as a buyer has increased nearly double in last couple years so we have had to adjust accordingly.. sorry we have to make money too!! With the steak issues we have changed our beef supplier as again prices have soared (as I'm sure you've noticed in your grocery shopping) so we tried a different supplier with not such great results. Again problem has been resolved.. as for atmosphere here sorry its not always rainbows and unicorns dancing to polka music here but so goes life.. we hope if you and your group decide to try us again your experience is much improved!! Last year, I would have wrote a glowing report; I even bought one of their shirts, but this year? Complete disaster!!! I went for an $18.50 steak and half of it was gristle. I was originally going to get the beef stroganoff (also known as beef and noodles) and that went up from 10.99 to 13.95! A couple next to me told the young waitress that they couldn't taste the fried oysters they had bought and grumbled it would be another 3 years before they came again. The atmosphere of the place was shot, the young waitresses didn't know their food (I then ordered, what I was told would be 12, ended up being only 9 "Buffalo" wings, which weren't buffalo at all. They were heavily breaded and were the size of young baby hen wings. Yuck! Unwelcoming, overpriced, poor quality and inemptness from young waitresses. I know of 6 people who won't go there ever again! What a shame!
