I used to adore this place for its cozy, authentic vibe and delicious food before the renovation, and despite its divey atmosphere and occasional awkwardness as a white, busty woman, I still enjoy getting my takeout and waiting at the bar for my order, even though the bartenders always hand me an English menu, which is a change from the days of Spanish-only menus, but the food remains worth the stares and lack of female patrons.
