The pupusas at El Marinero rival even my mother's homemade creations, as a Salvadoran native, I am well-versed in their authentic flavors and preparation. Situated in a modest Langley Park strip mall, the renovated interior boasts a sleek design with marble accents and stainless steel fixtures. The grilled shrimp dish, served with pureed beans, rice, and a refreshing Romaine salad topped with house-made salsa and avocado slices, is a flavorful representation of Latin American cuisine at its finest.
