I used to eat here frequently before the pandemic hit. Food was great, atmosphere was great. At this point, it is so chaotic, the staff so overworked, and the manager so rude that it should be avoided at all cost. Rather than have people sit in all the empty areas of the actual restaurant, they make patrons wait outdoors in 90+ degree heat for a table. Indeed, to be allowed to sit in the waiting area, I had to wait almost 10 minutes for someone to come down from the restaurant to tell me what was happening. They could not begin to predict how long anyone would have to wait, but judging from the people waiting forlornly, I would expect vultures to be picking at my bones before I get a seat.

I havnt been here in years prior to this eve, it has always been a 5 in my book. My husb. Takes me out to dinner for my b-day (hes never been) today, well they should stick to the american cuisine. Ordered jagerschnitzel. Usually it's made with pork, they made it with veal. That's ok I like veal. They have no idea how to make german food. Disappointed to say it nicely. My knife handle was in the sauce when I rec'd my meal. Ok wiped off. Sauce in the middle of a flattened thin paper breaded piece of veal. Gross. Sauce was cream colored with a couple of shrooms. 1/8 of the amount u should get. Braised red kraut... red cabbage w/added vinegar. Not braised. When we paid the check is when I gave my opinion to the waitress. "Oh u should of said something sooner" NO U SHOULD OF ASKED HOW MY FOOD WAS? Shouldn't have to complain. I told her it was so bad they need to take it off the menu. Thank god it's only for october. Dont u taste the receipe before u serve it. A $20.00 dish I ate 7 bites from the whole plate. 1. Spell it correctly on the menu (should of gave me a clue there) 2. B4 u make a dish research. Crap there are better receipes on the internet. 3. I know what I'm talking about, I have been to Germany 4 times. As for service a 2. Waitress was so lazy she couldnt pick up a drink straw off the floor. Told her to come back in 2 min, to take our order, 10 min. Later. As I'm watching her talking to another waitress. Not busy 3 tables upstairs. Onion soup was good but not as hot as should be. Nice and brown on top so that means it was prob sitting there for 15 min b4 we were served.
