The bar has a relaxed vibe with friendly locals and tasty food. I loved the homemade corned beef hash and the portion sizes were generous at reasonable prices. Despite its unassuming exterior in a strip mall, the welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff make it a great spot for a meal or drink.

I recently visited a local bar with a fun atmosphere and enjoyed some pretty good food. The welcoming crowd and nice tables made for a pleasant dining experience. I particularly loved the breakfast - the corned beef hash was crispy on the outside and hot & soft inside, and the biscuits and gravy with eggs were perfect. The service from Lindsey was terrific, and I appreciated the choices of tables or booth seating. Despite the noise level, it was a great breakfast spot, and I look forward to returning. The pub fare at McGonigles was outstanding, and the prices were reasonable. The wait staff were pleasant and helpful, and the food was delicious - I even had leftovers to enjoy later. We ordered takeout for dinner and were impressed with the tasty fish and chips. The friendly staff and great food make this place a must-visit in Kalamazoo.
