My family has tried speedy chick a few times. Every time we eat there at least one of us gets sick. My husband has gotten sick the last two times and my son and I got sick (violently ill) the time before that. We tried it again today, and true to form, my husband have vomited and I am very nauseous. My family is done with speedy chick.

Never had smelt before in my life and I am from Texas so I was a lil skeptical about the Catfish...CAN YOU SAY AMAZING!!! Been working in MI for 6 months and this is the only place I will get Fish from! Thanks for making my away from home feel like Home!!! Well its Friday....fish time!!!

OMG! The BEST chicken I've had in a Loooooong time! And those breaded smelt! Had them twice in a 6 day period and even took a couple-a pounds home with me to enjoy back in Racine. The menu is fantastic and hard to decide what to choose from as it all musty be equally delicious as the chicken and smelt. The smelt are bonelessmbraded and cooked to perfection as like "popcorn" snacks. M-M-M-M-M.....ALL finger lookin good! Son't miss a stop here.

If you've never had their chicken, then you've not lived! The place looks like a dive, but inside it's the best. Been eating their chicken since the mid 80's and it's still just as good. Definitely a must stop for anyone visiting Marshall.

This Hormey spot is a lot more than great chicken.

Perhaps the most unique is the great smelt. The staff cleans & removes the back bone. once we tried the smelt we always at least order a small takeout.

Macaroni & cheese, deep fried turkeys, catering family & business make Speedy Chick on stop shopping.
