KB's Pizza and Sub Shop opened in March 1976 on the first block of Beacon Boulevard when entering Grand Haven from the bridge. It quickly became a hub for family dining and established it's identity as a staple of Grand Haven family dining. Since then, owner Kim Golba has been serving quality, perfectly heated, superb comfort food and taking daring new ventures into the uncharted territories of food (more chocolate chips in the cookies).
KB's interior, original and reflective of its past, incorporates open seating and furniture that will throw you back to the normative dining styles of the 80's. As a further reflection of our dedication to our history, the kiddos still get a quarter with every purchase to play one of our awesome arcade games.

After a long drive, I found this charming little eatery that exceeded my expectations with its delicious food. The garlic cheese bread was fantastic, and I was pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of the subs-half of mine was more than enough to fill me up. The atmosphere was quiet and clean, and the staff were friendly, making it a wonderful dining experience that I would love to enjoy more often if I lived nearby.

This place needs to either hire adults to run the place. Or spend some extra time training the employees. I ordered pizza and all the toppings were under cooked. I also ordered a sub and it was so soggy the bag fell apart. Never happens when Vicky is working. Don't turn the kids loose until their ready to represent the business in a positive manner.

Everytime I'm in town, I have to stop by this place! I love to order the BLT sub without cheese and on occasion, the taco sub. The Wisconsin cheese soup with garlic bread is on point as well. This is by the far the best sub place in the area!

Love this place. Great food and love their homemade cookies. They give out a quater to the kids to play a game while they wait. Excellent way to keep the parents coming back. :) Can't go wrong with their subs and the cheese soup is awesome.

Pizza & Sub shop is a great place to eat! Friendly people, always! Amy must have sat on a stick the day she was there to complain so much :) They have excellent subs, and you can buy pizza by the slice. Bottomless drinks round out their fare.
And I always play the Space Invaders game, as I have for the last 25 years there. High score stk

This place is horrible.
When i went there they were absolutley rude to me, then when my order was done it was cold. SO i asked them if they could heat it up again and they said "no". Then i asked if they could make me a new sandwhich and they told me i would have to pay for another one.
It was a horrible experience, and i will never go back.
