Really? $6.00 empanada's? How is that? No prices in the menu? Well, I was told by the server at Cafe Unique that we were not in Venezuela and that we were in the USA. I am from Venezuela so I recognized that right away. So I guess what she was saying is that it's acceptable to rip people off here in the USA and not in Venezuela? Listen, it's their business and they can charge what they want for food but to over charge for food that is literally made on the side of the road in Venezuela is more than ridiculous. The food served in this restaurant is sold by street vendors in Venezuela and here in the Cafe Unique it is prepared by a Chef and sold at ridiculously high prices. It's like an American going to Indonesia to sell beef hotdogs for $25.00 each, get what I am saying? Also, typical elitist Venezuelan attitude to only be open just for the afternoon 5 days a week. I guess their making a killing with the $6.00 empanada. I would hate to find out what an Arepa cost or to sit down and eat a plate lunch, you could lose your house. The only thing unique about the Cafe' Unique is that they are "uniquely expensive". Ciao.

The chicken pot pie was terrible; I had to eat it because it would be too embarrassing to return it. My friend returned hers and said it tasted like dirt; like in well water. I felt like it has too much pepper & the filling was very thin for pot pie.
