great food, atmosphere and friendly service

I was really looking forward to this place because it sounded so good on the billboards, but it was a big dissapointment. The food was really underpar and way overpriced. Service was non-existent, but to be fair it was lunch time. But still, there was only one waitress for the entire place. She was efficient but could not keep up. There were no refills of any kind, no checking back with the table, etc. We had the special of the day, which was a pork sandwich. It was a supermarket hamburger bun (the small kind) with a scoop of meat on it. $7! There wasn't a scrap of lettuce, a pickle or a potato chip in sight. Our "lunch" for two was over $15 and we didn't order drinks. Outrageous! Could you at least make an attempt to fill up the plate with something? A sprig of parsley? A cherry tomato? A 59 cent bag of chips?
Needless to say we didn't see or even hear about all those 'homemade baked goods' that were advertised. Even if our waitress had offered it, we probably couldn't have afforded it.
We will not be going back.
