My wife and I were here for lunch on Saturday. The decor is quaint and comfortable. My wife had the four rib lunch special and the ribs were fresh out of the smoker. Wonderful flavor and just the right amount of smoke. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender. There are a variety of sauces available at table. I had the combination appetizer plate with catfish nuggets, fried green tomatoes and fried okra. It is quite a plate full and each bite was delicious. I like the cornmeal breading. We also split the appetizer special which was fried summer squash, again with the cornmeal breading. They have a limited selection of tap beers and are in the process of obtaining a wine license. The owner and chef both came out and visited us. I wish them much success because we will be back again and again. Can't wait to try the gumbo.
