While in Oxford for my daughter's softball tournament, I found a barbecue joint connected to a gas station that quickly became a favorite. The service was friendly and fast, and the smoked chicken and ribs were some of the best I've ever tasted, with generous sides that offered great value. Despite its humble appearance, the food and southern hospitality made it a memorable and satisfying meal during a busy day.

While in Oxford for my daughter's softball tournament, I discovered a barbecue place attached to a gas station a couple miles away from the fields. The service was quick and polite, with a simple setup where you order at the counter and pay at the register. The food was a good value, offering a decent amount of fries and okra along with two pieces of fish for $11, making it a satisfying meal option during a busy day.
