it was good

07/12/2010 - Great Catfish and Great Service!‎
I live in Hillsboro, so I'm close to "Off the Hook." I like to shop at the Desoto Walmart, so it's on the way. Catfish is one of my favourite foods, but it has to be cooked correctly. I like it breaded and crispy - and this place makes it perfect every time! The prices are reasonably too, but the friendliness and service of the people who work there is outstanding! That's why I am a "regular." :)

We have eaten here several times, and have always received excellent service and the food was very tasty. They get extremely busy during Lent, but even then we never had to wait more than 20-30 minutes. I would strongly recommend this spot and will continue to frequent it myself. I love taking new people there for their first time.

The place looked nice and seemed quaint, so we decided to give it a try. The only positive here was that our server was friendly and attentive.

Now the issues. There was a small nail in my wife's fish. We requested to speak with the person in charge, but we were told the owner was too busy doing an order to speak with us. We found this ridiculous and refused to pay for or finish our meal and left. We will never return and would not recommend this place to anyone.
