02/23/2019 - I did not know how long it would take. Lovely to have a bakery in town and they seem to be very delicious and everyone seems to love him so I wanted to post a review to say thank you
Before the bakery moved to Main Street I put in an order for four dozen of petite fours. I have been looking everywhere for them since a bakery where I grew up in New Orleans Louisiana closed when I was in my 20s and they had the kind I was looking for. This bakery did a wonderful job making them however I waited too long to pick them up an the sugar icing was falling off. The reason why I gave one sorry off is because the cake was cut and I prefer my petite four cakes not to be cut as I feel it hastens the cake getting stale and just have the sugar icing spread I love it. It was an excellent try the next time I order them I will try to pick them up the following day. I did not know how long it would take. Lovely to have a bakery in town and they seem to be very delicious and everyone seems to love themm including me, so I wanted to post a review to say thank you for all the trouble you went to to make my petite fours like I wanted to go. Maybe we can talk one day you showed me the book from many years ago that you took the recipe from it was very interesting nice bakery in town everyone should visit ........Nothing like going back to the older days when there are nice things such as lovely bakeries and not everything was mass produced with high fat! I highly recommend Flour de Lis Bakery they seem eager to do anything you want them to do for you within reason......thanks gonna order more soon!!
