I had the pleasure of being friends with Ernest Gallo, who would often visit my restaurants when he was in San Francisco. After each meal, he'd call me up the next day to share his thoughts, and I still enjoy his wines every day. The Gallo family is genuine and takes great care of their employees while producing a wide range of excellent beverages, making it a joy to be part of their world.
