Always a favorite when coming to Montana, the fettuccine Alfredo with steak is amazing. The prime rib won tons are also a hit. Service is great and the view is amazing. The food is excellent, the service is cheerful, and the restaurant is simple and clean.

Have been eating at Lahood Park for years. Have taken many friends from California, Colorado, Washington and Canada.We all love this place. They have the best steaks and food in the state.

My husband and I ate dinner here last summer while visiting friends in Montana. We stumbled upon it after visiting the Lewis and Clark Caverns and I'm certainly glad we did! The food was amazing and the service was top notch. My husband almost ALWAYS complains at restaurants about the way that his steak is cooked, but this time, he said it was PERFECT! The prices were extremely reasonable and you get tons of food. The entrees come with soup, salad, AND a side, which was more than enough for us. Everything had a fresh, homemade flavor (not frozen and re-heated like some restaurants). We enjoyed river views after dinner on a patio behind the bar, which just topped the cake. Beautiful setting, great food and great company!

My wife and I were driving through Montana on our way home to Seattle and spent the night in Whitehall. The workers at the Super 8 recommended LaHood's to us. The management was extremely friendly and it had an outstanding family atmosphere. The entrees were very well priced for being a steakhouse. I ordered a filet mignonette and my wife had prime rib. The steaks were cooked to perfection and my filet literally melted in my mouth. All the entrees came with one or two sides, a mixed green salad, a cup of homemade soup and fresh baked bread with homemade butter. The portion sizes did fill us up and even gave us leftovers for a meal on the go on our way home. Not only was the food excellent but service, location, and margaritas were great as well. I highly recommend Lahoods to anyone in the butte/ Bozeman area.

OK. I just ate there today and I was very unhappy when I left. When we received to menu almost everything was over $20 a dish with no sides. The sides you had to order separate and they were very expensive as well. Now my idea of fine dining is Perkins so needless to say I don't have very high standards. The steak my husband, ordered for it to be done, it came with a little color on the outside and bloody! My fish was had and dry. In fact didn't even taste like fish. The fries were burnt on the outside and frozen in the middle. The just served water had chunks in it. My girls and I both walked out sick to our stomachs. Besides that there were bugs everywhere. From where we were sitting we saw a half a dozen spiders, flies everywhere and ants crawling all over us.
I was very frustrated, Because everyone in the Whitehall/ Cardwell valley gave us really good reports.
I will however say the waitress did well for her first day on the job!
