I'm disappointed that a once wonderful restaurant has shut its doors. It's clear that things took a turn for the worse after the original owners handed it over to someone lacking in vision and skill. Despite needing some updates like new carpets and improved bathrooms, the place truly was a delight. I have countless cherished memories from my visits there, and I hope that the beloved Helene de Champlain will make a triumphant return in the future.
