During my vacation up from Philly, I was eager to try the local poutine and ended up at La Banquise. Although the wait for a table was about 6-12 minutes, the lively atmosphere and friendly service made it enjoyable. I ordered two regular plates, trying the L'Idefix and Fred Caillou, and while the fries got soggy quickly, the unique toppings created a delicious experience that I can't wait to relive on my next visit to Montreal.
