A friend and I visited a candy store in Virginia City a couple of months ago and were impressed by the wide selection of candy in barrels. The store had a nostalgic charm that made us feel like kids in a candy store, and we enjoyed browsing through the colorful displays.

For the INSANE price we paid we thought we'd get fresh candy. Boy were we wrong! The taffy was so hard to chew, chocolate bars were gray, and sticks of gum were dried out. Don't know how the owner can sleep at night, selling this candy that should be thrown out!!!
