I have a difficult time driving into Nova Scotia without stopping at the Schnitzel Haus whether for a full meal or a soup and pretzel. If you are really lucky they may have the Goulash soup, (my husbands favourite) only made occasionally but worth the stop. We have never been disappointed with this authentic German cuisine. Huge portions and the sides are awesome. I have even stopped to get takeout for my mom (living at a Seniors complex). We have had excellent service and would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

German cuisine at its finest! Huge portions (Really, I mean HUGE!) and you get so much with your meal. I ordered the Schnitzel-sausage combo and the side dishes come literally in side dishes, there's no room on the huge plate. German fried potatoes, saurkraut, vegetables, a roll, plus a full schnitzel and a full sausage. Bring your appetite!
