I've been to this restaurant many times in the past - the food was always delicious and the service was always great. It's been approx. 2 years since my last visit but sadly, after today, I will not return. The service was terrible and the food was worst. Asked for a spoon and was told they do not provide spoons (weird), then moments later saw 2 ladies at another table using spoons to eat their soup ( must have brought their own). Ordered Lunch Special #1 and the Vegetarian Roll - both dishes brought to the table were exactly the same and not what was ordered. Tried to get the attention of the waitress but she couldn't be bothered. I have never, EVER had sushi served with purple rice before - not your typical California Roll. The rice was so heavy and mushy made me wonder just why it was purple. Ate a few pieces just to try- bad mistake because I haven't been feeling well ever since. In a nutshell the meal was disgusting. I'm so disappointed - I used to enjoy the delicious food at Ta-Ke Sushi. Don't know what happened to this restaurant but I will not be going back again. For the record...I have never placed a complaint about an establishment in my life, but my experience was so bad that I feel compelled to voice my opinion.
