Excellent fried rice. Tucked away in a strip mall this restaurant is consistently the best Chinese takeout around There are a few tables to eat there but have never done so. Food is excellent I come from Southbury just to get their takeout

After returning to small-town, rural CT after my college years in Boston (with all its bounty in terms of cuisines and restaurants), I can say in earnest that Shing Jet is unequivocally the best Chinese food I have had, reminiscent of the meals my best friend's PoPo used to serve.

Especially since Singh Jet has become better to my taste since the pandemic shutdown. Always great tasting.

Just okay. I've had better Chinese food and I've had much worse. I don't know why so many Chinese restaurants have old pictures of their food on the walls.

Little Expensive on dinner but they give you pretty good portions and their DUMPLINGS are amazing!

These restaurant is the biggest rip off for lunch. Make sure that you tell them you want the LUNCH special before 3pm because they assume you want only the full price items. I also tried to explain my position and want the difference but was told I need to bring back the food to have that happen and I am sure the Health Dept will enjoy that fact that half eaten food from takeout is being excepted back over the same counter they are serving food over. ATM with time stamped was not enough to prove the over charge. I was told that I got the dinner size, but it was not what I asked for and the individual keep saying he knew English, which i had never question ed his language ability only his ethics. The end result is that I will never go here again after being hung up on twice.
