You won't find better sandwiches around here, and the Woodglen Italian is a standout. The cozy atmosphere, delicious baked goods, and fresh, hearty sandwiches make it a local treasure that's perfect for a picnic at the nearby park.

The sub is not a sub, more like a gourmet sandwich. The bread felt and tasted like it was frozen more than once. The lettuce is not shredded lettuce, it's baby spinach. Very little meat. A whole sub is not much bigger than the half sub the original owner made. Sadly I won't be returning to what used to be my go to sub shop. Ed, you and your sandwiches are very much missed!

Subs are great choc chip cookies and crumb cake are very good also. Friendly place

perfect non-mundane lunch goodies:
roasted red peppers, marinated portabellas, horseradish cheddar, low-sugar bottled green tea, black truffle potato chips;
plus locally baked pastries already individually wrapped;
plus a pull-rope behind the counter that lets them open the door for you
