I used to rate this family restaurant a 10, but after the Pandemic closing, the quality of food and Cuban food authenticity has been downgraded. The Arroz con Pollo a la Chorrera is no longer tasty and juicy as it used to. The meat no longer as tender. I wonder if they have a new cook (chef) at the kitchen. I don't want to hear, ( that you get what you pay for), that is a vague excuse!

This place is excellent. Located on a side street in West New York (62nd street), the food is authentic and very tasty. I love their Ropa Vieja. The beef is seasoned just right and the moro is very tasty and they provide a huge portion. My wife Odalys usually orders the shrimp which is based in a delicious sauce. Try the Iron Beer, a fruity soda from in Cuba.The service is excellent (friendly waitress) and you can't beat the prices. We live in Long Island and make the trip to this place quite a few times a year.
