They refused to accept my restaurant.com certificate. The only requirement for using the $25 certificate was that we needed to spend at least $37.50 and that the certificate couldn t be used on holidays/special events . We went there today (January 4....not a holiday) and spent $61 on sushi, salads, drinks & desserts. When we showed them the certificate at the end of the meal, they said they wouldn t accept it because sushi is the special event that is excluded from the certificate. So now ordering sushi at a Japanese restaurant is considered a special event ? It was a regular, always-listed menu item, not some weird, rare or limited-time-only kind of meal. What a turn-off. I won t bother going back. There s a better Japanese restaurant 2 blocks away anyway.
