The soft, crunchy fry bread here reminds me of something my grandma might have made, only much larger and fluffier, almost like a fluffy pizza. The rib roast with green chile fills you with warmth and satisfaction, making it hard not to want a nap afterward, while the corn stew offers a comforting embrace that feels like home. Though the exterior is unassuming, the friendly staff and authentic flavors invite you in to savor the soul food of the Navajo, leaving you with full tummies and a desire to return.

I absolutely love indulging in fry bread for its delectable combination of softness and crunchiness that pairs perfectly with any dish. The rib roast with green chile is a must-try, leaving you satisfied and craving a cozy nap afterwards. The corn stew offers a comforting and hearty meal, making this unique restaurant a worthwhile destination for exploring new and delicious dishes.

The fresh lamb is wonderful, cooked very nicely, and the gentleman in charge makes every effort to bring you things he thinks you will like as part of your meal. But that's not all: there is fresh lamb for sale! It's heavenly when you use your favorite recipes at home. We make regular trips from St John's AZ to Gallup for shopping and coming to the Dine Grill - roast lamb sandwiches on fry bread - delicious - and the lettuce and tomatoes as desired are nice and fresh. And a couple of cooler bags of fresh lamb to stock up our freezer. This is truly a special place. Good prices too.
