The one and only time I was in New Orleans, I was passing through Bourbon St. around lunchtime, and happened upon this little place. As it was a couple years ago, I don't quite remember my experience, but I remember the shrimp gumbo. No gumbo I'd had before, or since then, can compare.
I fully intend on coming back if I once again ever find myself near Louisiana. Hopefully soon. My taste buds need to be reminded of what good food is once in a while.
