During my long vacation in New Orleans, I enjoyed an excellent meal featuring standout dishes like roasted beet salad, shrimp and grits, and veal and grits at Cafe Amelie, where the charming atmosphere, gracious staff, and flavorful Creole cuisine-including a memorable gumbo and delicious bread pudding-combined to create a quintessentially New Orleans dining experience that I look forward to revisiting.
